Discovering bioindicators of plant pollination

We are using hyperspectral and multispectral imaging to identify spectral reflectance signatures of pollination in plants. 

 

Undertaking controlled pollination experiments, we look to see how the event of being pollinated alters senescence pathways in leaves and in flowers. This has involved working with Arabidopsis, Brassica (Oil Seed Rape), and Strawberry.
